Some steps are fairly simple, some require proper tools, and some can damage your guitar if done improperly. The purpose of this guide is to remove the mystery of the guitar setup: what it is, what and how to check, and how to adjust it. It would also be a good idea to write down any measurements, so you know where you started. Any of those three conditions will affect the setup, and it would be best to correct them before doing a setup.
